ACSI has launched a partnership with CTB/McGraw-Hill to provide ACSI member schools an exciting new standardized assessment program. The cornerstone of this testing program is TerraNova™, Third Edition, Form G Complete Battery, which has been customized for ACSI; it includes five foundational-level PLUS tests and the Bible Assessment Subtest. This high-quality and technically sound test boasts current norms, along with linkage to state, national, and common core standards.

This partnership has also created the opportunity for customized enhancements, which include ACSI Data Online, an online reporting tool that allows schools to analyze and disaggregate both individual student group results, and an array of professional development opportunities specifically designed for ACSI member schools. InView (Grades 2–12) is an innovative cognitive-abilities assessment comprising five tests that reliably measure skills and abilities important for academic success: Verbal Reasoning-Words and Context, Sequences, Analogies, and Quantitative Reasoning. When used in conjunction with TerraNova 3, InView provides the Cognitive Skills Index and the anticipated-achievement scores.

 

Primary Test of Cognitive Skills (Grades K–1) is a group-administered series of four tests (Verbal, Spatial, Memory, and Concepts) designed to measure the cognitive skills of early learners. PTCS helps you to identify students who may be gifted, who may have learning disabilities, or who may have unique developmental delays. When administered with TerraNova 3, PTCS can produce an anticipated-achievement score.

 

TerraNova Online provides an engaging test experience for students and immediate, actionable results to help teachers target instruction. it assesses reading/language and mathematics for grades 3–10. TerraNova Online can be used anytime throughout the school year to help identify your students’ needs and help students move toward proficiency. it provides both norm-referenced and objective information.

 

Writing Roadmap 2 is an online essay mentor and scoring tool available for grades 3–12. This tool allows students and teachers to select writing prompts in any four styles—narrative, informative/expository, descriptive, or persuasive—then provides instant feedback on writing assignments, including automatic scoring, instructional guidance, and robust reporting.

 

First Performances’ Fox Letters and Numbers is a research-based observational assessment that measures young children’s conceptual development in literacy and mathematics in the year preceding kindergarten. this assessment allows you to find out what a student knows so that instruction can be focused. Intervention activities include Numbers and Operations, Geometry, Measurement, Algebra, Data Analysis, Alphabet Knowledge, Oral Language, Print Awareness.

 

 

Fully integrated to cover reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills, LAS Links K–12 assessments help you accurately determine the academic and social language skills of English language learners. they provide research-based results to support your instructional decisions and enable schools to measure student progress year to year and between grades.
