International Christian schools are schools located outside of the U.S. that serve the expatriate community and sometimes the host country population. Most often, instruction is in English with a Western-style curriculum. The ACSI Global office serves international schools from ACSI headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. Other schools located outside of the U.S. primarily focus on serving the local population and follow the curriculum guidelines of the country in which they are located. ACSI terms these schools “national schools.” If you are part of a national school please contact the ACSI office nearest you to find out about the ACSI services available to you.
Because international schools have unique needs, in addition to ACSI’s standard services of school accreditation, teacher certification, and professional development, ACSI offers several services just for international schools. These include:
Transcript Depository, which houses graduate transcripts for international schools. Graduates can then order copies of their transcripts through ACSI.
Apostille or Authentication Letters for accredited international schools to assist graduating students entering into colleges and universities.
International School Development Services (ISDS), which provides international schools a way to receipt donations.
Global Conferences for international Christian educators and administrators.
